:: Lemon’s 21st ::

Everyone knows that 21st birthday is one of the most special birthdays you should look out for.
Mine is just a normal one where i get to chipped into Gladys’s party to celebrate together but of course the cake only for her.

I made a surprise birthday party for Lemon last month.
It was not all that kind of party but it was a memorable one.

I called up all his guy friends and my buddy KNet to plan the party.
I planned since a week before the day but the guys as usual postpone everything till the very last minute which was the night before the day!
Guys will always be guys. They only care about their gaming, partying and friends but nothing about responsibilities which is being handed to them. Last minute maybe only works for them.

Everyone agreed with the plan where each of us bring one food like a pot luck type of party.
But of course have to bring enough for the total of people who will be appearing for the party itself.
And not forgetting, no same dishes!
No snacks just real food. Which made each and everyone of us bloated!

I myself wanted to do 2 dishes and I did pasta and sushi.
Was super proud with my sushi cause I was worried the rice doesn’t taste nice without the over night flavoured of the rice vinegar but i was super wrong

The plan is everyone must be at Kenny’s house by 7pm. Yes, the party is held in his house.
No where else to held the party. Besides Kenny was super kind as always to let us to use his house as the event place.
And around 7.15pm I went to pick Lemon up. He wanted to have dinner and movie with me but I told him I need to pass Kenny something cause I promised his girlfriend. So yea, that’s how it all started.
He did suspected something at 1st in the car but then I was looking and acting as if really I HAD to pass things to Jenny, Kenny’s girlfriend. Even reached Kenny’s house I missed call him to come out to get the things but instead everyone wished Lemon a Happy Birthday and welcome him in.

.: Food Galore :.
These are all the food brought by 10 people. Various of food till many of the food still remains alot.

.: Homemade Pasta :.
Yeah yeah i know.. *sigh* the captions on the picture is totally *eeekkk!* wrong!
Haha.. but then, sorry la okay. I totally went out of my mind that night editing it.
Anyways, I did this pasta. And guess what, there were so much left till I can eat for 2 more days.

.: Homemade Sushi :.
Yes, this is also made by me. And yes, do pardon the captions please.
And double yes, I only made cucumber. No crab meat or eggs or tuna.
Cause I was lazy and no time to cook and do all those. Only 3 hours left!

.: French Fries :.
These are from a dude named Ah Wei. And trust me, it was totally full up to the top but once we got there it was as low as that!
Cause of everyone waiting for the birthday boy and the party planner girlfriend to arrive, they munch finger food while watching the movie.

.: Soy Sauce Chicken :.
Thanks to Kenny for this dish. Sadly, still much remain. And I kinda feel bad for him especially his mother cause his mother did all these for the party.

.: Steamed Sausages :.
If not mistaken this was brought by Lemon’s best friend, Ting Yung.
He was not able to make it earlier he did ask Kenny to buy and cook for us for the dinner.
He later then joined us which was around 10pm if I’m not mistaken.

.: Wrapped Meat :.
Brought by a friend name Ah Tak. I have to admit, he’s one of the most ‘rough’ guy I’ve ever met and trust me, you know what I mean. But all in all, he’s one sweet friend.

.: Birthday Boy :.
Presenting, Lemon, the birthday boy of the night.
This picture shows that, he was fed by his ‘son‘ to show appreciation of his fatherhood. *LOL*

.: Pork Sausages :.
Brought by the siblings, ’son’ and KNet. Among all, KNet helped me alot in organizing this party.
She even contribute in sharing money to buy the ingredients of the sushi and pasta.
Not only that, the cake also! *big wet eyes* She’s one good friend and I miss her lots

.: Finger Food :.
The most yummy and delicious among all the pot luck dishes! Thanks to Julian for it.
I also have to agree with Kenny, he should bring more.
Bet it was expensive. But lots of thanks from me

.: Homemade Sandwiches :.
One super yummy sandwiches. Thanks to Tun Seng’s mother. One expert in making sandwiches. Imagine she even decorate and arrange the sandwiches which I’ve never seen before. Double thumbs up!

.: Birthday Cake :.
If not mistaken it’s half a kg which cause around RM33 from Mita Cake House.
Flavored? Tiramisu and it’s yummy. Not dry not that moist!

Lighting up the candles on the birthday cake. Big boy also need people light up his birthday cake.
