Back to the topic, since it’s already super belated Valentine’s Day, means it’s time to blog about this.
I went for a lunch Valentine with a buddy at a place called Food and Tea.
Who say’s Valentine is all about your soul mate. It’s also about your friends and your family!
A drink I ordered. I forgotten all about the names of the food and drinks served. But I remembered the drink has something about Love. If not mistaken it’s name is Forever Love which in the picture suppose to be pinkish red. Instead, it being served Orangish to me. The taste, not bad.
A drink my ‘date’ ordered, something with green tea I guess. I cannot remembered. Have to ask my ‘date’ again. But looks refreshing.
The dish my ‘date’ ordered. Something about minced beef. I cannot get the picture out of my head when the person sitting opposite me eating a raw egg together with his/her dish. I did asked, that person told me it was delicious!
Mushroom soup we ordered and we shared. No doubt it’s not worth cause in the picture of the menu it was super huge. But once it was served, it’s super small. Surprisingly it was very yummy!! I was forced to finish it though..
My Valentine lunch dish! Seafood with mussels pasta! Super thick cheese.. which means super fattening. Had a lip allergy after that dish! *ROFL*
All in all, I enjoyed every moment of it. Hope this post doesn’t makes you hungry!

I’ll be honest. I had no idea until after reading some entries of yours that you thought about shutting down your blog. I’m glad that my words helped you continue on writing.
In the end, it was your decision to make to continue writing. I was just there for support. I believe that people make their own decisions, but also believe that everyone needs encouragement even for what many see as a small thing. And I do know first-hand what it feels like when you try so hard to have people read your words and it seems no one is. There isn’t a good blogger I know that hasn’t hit a point where they’ve thought about not writing any longer. Yes, that includes me.
Sometimes, taking time off away from it is the answer. Or taking a different approach with a topic. And sometimes like in this case it takes some support and it may come from somewhere you least expect it.
Getting traffic to a blog/site is not easy no matter what type of writer you are. But building relationships with others can go a long way in helping that. Trust me when I tell you that there has been some bloggers give me advice along the way. See, we all need help every once in awhile.
You are creative and a good writer. I know that I can’t be the only one who sees that. I’m just glad we crossed paths.
Thanks for the plug on my blog. It is greatly appreciated. I can promise you that when I post that blog, it will amaze you and hopefully entertain.

hello. it’s my first time to be here today… thanks to ‘D (David Funk… i call him ‘D because i am so lazy… and maybe because we bug each other every now and then.. easier to write with just a letter. hehe). ‘D told me about this blog and so here i am, checking it out.
i understand you saying that you want to shut down your blog. i had 3 blogs shut down before because i felt like noone even wanted to visit it.
the fourth blog which i started on the 7th of august 2008, (www.healthnbeyond.com) was something i really wanted to do. talk about health and some stuff i am interested about (that’s why it’s called healthnbeyond.com). i no longer cared if people will visit it or not. i just want to share online what i know a little about science since i am a pharmacist by profession. i also wanted to share some of my passion and a bit about me that’s why i added “beyond” on the title.
anyway, with much luck, two months later, i started gaining friends online who are through thick and thin there for me. 3 months later, my blog went from PR0 to PR2. during the first week of january this year, it went up to 3. i am really glad that at some point, i gave blogging another try.
so don’t give up. it’s always difficult at first… as well as depressing. but you’ll soon gain lots and lots of friends which you’ll see difficult to handle sometimes.
i am now trying to fix another blog which i started on january but never found much time to update it. i started reconstructing it last sunday and i am not really done yet… it’s http://www.ovahcoffee.com wherein i can talk everything and anything under the sun. i also hope that somehow, i can share to people how to enjoy blogging through my experience.
gosh gosh.. yeah yeah.. i talk a lot and ‘D knows that.
i have to stop now before i create a whole story about myself.
