Candy of the day: It has been a while.. a whilllleee…

Yes, am back. Hopefully for long. How I miss blogging so much.
Plenty to catch up on. Plenty of cleaning inventories of blogging links to do.
Guess what, I’ve gained weight. Not a pure HURAAAYY from myself. Not proud of it. And plus, I have extra dark shadows under my eyes. Even Nick says so. So yeah.. Panda girl.
Like I say I’m back. Here I go..
A day for my dad’s. He’s a year older and no matter how much he’s ‘grown’ and mistakes he did.. I still love him.
Decided to head for this restaurant which is LONG existed in Kuching. Mandarin Restraurant Kuching. A friend’s of my dad’s.
Never judge the building from the cover. Went in, sat down, waited for food and the food was AWESOME! Thumbs up.. can also consider toes up as well. Honestly, never expected that the dishes were so well tasted.

:: The Daddy
My one and only dad who have been there for me till now. Even there are super harsh times but still, he’s very adorably lovable! LOL *hope that sounds right*

::The Mummy
Honestly speaking, seldom you get mum smiling. She does look fierce and all but she’s a sweetheart. You can ask my friends.

:: The Baby Brother
More like a big brother to me. No jokking~

:: Chillies
Family loves spicy stuff. No idea why. All well-trained by my daddy.

:: Peanuts
Ya know, the appetizers, Chinese stylo. (LOL) You get peanuts for Chinese when I discover the advertisement where the famous local ground nuts, you knowww the name of “Cap Tangan”. That brand is superly tasty till the advertisement represents Chinese mens who eat the nuts and one super Kung Fu Chinese man in chopsticks of course uses chopsticks to eat the nuts. So yeah.. maybe that’s why Chinese and peanuts are together, no?

:: Long Life Noodle
Don’t get it why does it call long life noodle. Why does this noodle.. only this type of noodle is being named this way. Such a lucky one don’t you think so? Such a giver..
And of course, with such a special name and special ‘function’ (no idea if I should call it as function but..) Chineses ‘have’ to eat this during their birthdays. You know.. for long life.

:: Ochien
My favorite.. like I think I said it like zillion times.

:: Sweet and Sour Prawns
The best ones~ I can’t get enough and plus they are HUGE.
Prawns-Finger-Licking-Good.

::Buns
Not a huge fan of buns but trust me, these buns are soft and soft. (LOL) and when it comes to soft nice buns and oh~ WARM ones too.. you’ll get the combination of AWESOME-NESS. (adapted from my friend, Ian)

:: Belacan Billin
Billin, a jungle vegetable which local forest has them. They are yummy depending on how the way you cook them. For the best, cook with belacan, which of course for me, I can’t eat much due to allergies but still able a little for the little tiny taste of it. Besides, belacan a local ingredient to many dishes is something I don’t know what’s in side, so go figure. Maybe google it.. (LOL, showing the laziness)

:: Seacucumber Soup
My favorite dish as well. I love my parents.. and they know what I love and doesn’t. (Muahhhz). Anyhoo, this is 4.5 out of 5. How yummy is that!

Mandarin Restaurant for your information, is situated on top of ChilliPeppers of Jalan Tabuan. There’s a stairs to take you there, so be like a Princess at the stairs and dine like one.
