Candy of the day: Am so so pissed at the moment. So in fire. So many troubled things occurred to me. And now within my family, one keeps pestering me to do stuff that I do not like. Once you force me to, you make me look down on you and lost interest in you. PLEASE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD PLEASE PLEASE STOP THIS!!

Am trying my very best to cool things down in my head and heart now.
So here I am blogging. Am sorry if I can’t explain each and every picture.

Anyways, I own a deviant art now. Very new to it so please bare as well.

Anyways, this post is about an excursion photography session whereby we are supposed to go towards typography (click on it to see what does it mean).

The destination for the excursion was at Carpenter Street. A well known place where photographers and video cameras known to hang out.

One of my favorite typography picture I shot. It’s not as pretty as a professional one can do but at least I produced something.

If not mistaken we spent like pretty much the whole morning till noon for this photoshoot venture.

And with this, I beginning to love my classmates more. Oh, this venture was held once upon a time ago.

My home town is a wonderful humble place to live in. It’s not such a huge city where lots of cars and pollution but it’s rather the moderation state of nature and development.

At times, I do not adore my own hometown as it tends to be boring but deep down in my heart, it’s my spot.

At times you just have to stop being so caught in the net and come back to your own home town and your background.

A street art where we spotted along the venture. It was on this electrical box.

It was a humid morning till most of us were sweating out heart outs. Cars passed us wondering why there’s a huge bunch of kids or people holding big black and colorful cameras walking around.

We then spotted this shop where the owner keeps lots of antique stuffs. Money that are worth more than our current ones.

The owner is a tattoo artist. Claimed to be the 1st in Sarawak to do Tattoos. He painted a picture of Michael Jackson.

You know what, I tend to noticed guys tend to keep long hair after secondary school for at least a year and then goes back to normal.

The girl who that very day we know that once she has a camera in her hands, just leave her alone. In one very spot with lots of interesting things, you can just go and have a cup of coffee and come back within an hour and she is still there. What we did was we walked in a group and POOF next 5 minutes you can’t see her anymore.

Let me update you with my work.
I finished my website. A dummie website. Which was the last project among all this semester. Requirement is just to design and landing page for a topic which I choose long time ago, a band group.

No worries, it’s just a project. Had fun doing the design though. Was worrying a fan web page should have what.. Hopefully i score for this.

Anyways, here are my past assignment. Thanks to Nick he reminded me of what I did last semester. MV. Remember the one I post about? The 1st frame. So here it goes.
Requirements is to create a Movie Video of a song. 6 frames all together. The song I choose is “The Way You Look Tonight”.
One of my favorite song. I decided to do on wedding Movie Video as I think it suits the song. So here it goes.

My 2nd frame showing the bride is getting ready for the wedding dinner.
My aim is to portray her reflection of the mirror.

My 3rd frame – spiral point of view whereby the bride walks down the stairs. I am not proud of this frame as I think I could do better on the bride herself. Looks as if it’s a last minute job isn’t it?

I wanna focus on how important the bride is to him in this 4rd frame. That is why I make drew her inside his eyes. To reflects not only the love of his life but the One and Only!

This 5th frame shows them dancing in the middle of the dance floor. Lecturer expects me to focus more on the design of the dress. And here it is.

Last but not least my 6th frame. Shows the love between both of them. The kissing part. The lighting behind and the rose petals flying around them are lecturer’s idea. Thanks to her I myself love this piece the most.

I have to admit, I am a romantic rut. Pisces, what do you expect from us. *winks*

Candy of the day: Honestly I have never been this worn out before. Not sleeping peacefully for a month. Comparing to unable to sleep for 3 nights in a row, this is much more hectic. Is this a Degree life?? As what I know, I never experienced this in my College life before.

Presentation today was okay. Was mixture of nervousness + sleepiness.
I thought all my drawings suck to the core.
Why? I didn’t fullfill the requirements.
Why again? I don’t know what I am doing for my last exercise. Is it right or wrong?

Submitted one of the major task just now.
My shoulders feel lighter now. No matter how much I tried to edit my frames, they will always be there to haunt me. I feel that I did rather unsatisfying.
Maybe cause I expected more than usual.
Maybe cause I seen other’s work and compared mine.
Maybe cause lecturer expect more than our 1st piece.

Reached home rather late, if not mistaken it was 6.30pm.
Ate my late lunch, yes my lunch is my dinner, which I wish I do this more often.
Since parents are away till next week, not much freedom.
Uh huh, you heard me right.
Unlike others, whenever parents are away they own the key to the freedom door.
Me? I had to do chores and my baby brother wouldn’t even care less, and doing parent’s business.
No rest days for me.

After my late dinner, I lie on the couch, watching tv.
Closed my eyes, feeling rather tired, ending up sleeping which is bad cause I did it right after my late lunch and with morning clothes on. Plus, make up on too. *sighs*
Woke up like an hour later, due to tv shouting at me. Do chores, went up, took my shower and here I am. TADAH!

P.S: Drawing exercise this morning, I edited a spot. Miss Jenny said one frame looks alike Jo-Ann’s Brief 1. I edited that part. Didn’t mean to ‘steal’ it. Never thought of it either.
Oh, I edited it as in the girl is on the rainbow looking down at the unicorn.

PSSTTTT!! The countdown to The Spring’s new 2nd Floor retail space and MBO Cinemas opening end of July! YAY can watch movie after class easily now!

It’s been days since she left. Everytime we passed her room, we go silent.
Wishing we could just see her again, jumping in her cage happy to see us to open the door for her just to have fun. How her ears are always short, cute and up everytime she sees us and down when she’s sad and sick.
I still miss you baby girl. Still am and very much.

Yesterday was my presentation of Digital Design.
I remembered doing my 1st assignment, inspired by my baby cookie. A family of bunnies.

Will post it up soon.
Doing the documentation tears me up too. I printed her pictures and paste them inside my workbook as well.

However, today am gonna post up my 2nd assignment – Impression where by you are require to get a model (friend, family but not your self), take picture of him/her and create a story from there.
I decided to use my bestie at 1st, but most of the pictures I cannot create a story board.
I then decided to ask TimKoko for help, model Hui Jing who I know her from my dancing class. Why her? Cause she has the innocent, pure look.
My theme and title is An Angel’s Silent Wish.
Requirements to select edit 6 pictures and create an impression according to your theme/title.

Let me tell you my story boarding 1st.
It’s about an Angel who has everything in heaven, her palace but wishes so badly for freedom. To go out and explore. It’s like a princess trap inside a castle who wishes to roam free for once. Just once. No matter how hard she prays and hopes, she still is trap.

Introduction – An Angel’s Silent Wish

1st Frame – Everyone see her as a happy Angel but in fact she is sad within.
As you can see, the happy her is the one right in front. Every one see her as a happy one. The mirror behind reflect her lonely self. Other picture frames shows her attributes of sadness – broken wings, sad eyes and an emo scene where she is sitting alone in the darkness. Feathers are found on the floor. Google research says that when an Angel is sad, it is shown by the wings and the glowing from the Angel itself. Broken wings, feather falling and less glowing.

2nd Frame – She lives with magical mystical creatures such as unicorn and fairies. Image shows she is in the garden.
As you can see, the garden is full of white flowers which reflects purity together with a unicorn. If you do research about the meaning of unicorn, it represents purity as well. Added fairies too, if you do Google up about fairies, only innocent hearts can see them.

Frame 3 – She wishes one day she could fly above the sky on the cotton candy clouds and walk on the rainbow.
I selected this picture cause I love the walking on the water scene. The butterflies that follows her represents beauty within her.
This picture is a vertical one. I had to clone and duplicate the water (pool) longer to make it horizontal as lecturer wants us to make each our frames horizontal.

Frame 4 – She wishes to go out from the place just for once. One time is all she ask
I replace the background alike in heaven, to picture her trap in her castle up above. I changed her hair color to blue-ish green to reflect her blue mood and blend together with the sky behind her
This image is the best taken by the photographer whereby the lighting was perfect and the angel. Didn’t require me to do much but to beautify her more. It was a vertical picture therefore I had to clone and duplicate the door to make it horizontal.

Frame 5 – This frame reflect her inner feeling which is trap alike in the middle of the sea.
As you can see, the Angel is place on a rock in the middle of a sea. The dark clouds, birds and rough waves reflects her thoughts. Her bottled up sadness which she wants more freedom. The world (planet) behind her represents the places she wants to go. But she couldn’t go anywhere as she is trap alone in the middle of the sea, no one to save her. No way to go. If you zoom in more, you can spot a chain tied her up on the rock.

Frame 6 – This piece reflects on her feelings which is happy yet deep inside very sad. It’s alike wearing a mask cause no matter how hard she tries she knows she won’t be able to obtain that freedom.
An Angel’s Silent Wish.
As you can see, I highlighted and focus on her facial expression in this scene whereby I focus more to her eyes whereby I made them blueish green and her lips. Her right eye which is the most visible one I added happiness to it whereby the other side I added tears. Which reflects her feelings – most visible (outer part of her) while the other eye (inner part of her).

Nice right?? Am not complimenting my editing of course.
I mean the model. Thanks to my photographer. Without him, I think I wouldn’t even have any idea to edit. Honest!! Right angles and stuff.
Want a photoshoot?? Go for him, he charges real affordable.
Outcome was satisfying than I expected. And this is an honest comment from me.

Before I end this post, I would like to thank my model, my photographer and my sifu who is very patience in teaching me photoshop. Even though I have touch photoshop for 4 years but haven’t till this standard. I learn alot from her.
