Candy of the day: At home on the 1st day of Chinese New Year. Not bad, get to relax.

Ministry Of Beats was one of the best early year event attended!
It was held at Royal Oak Lounge, Hills Shopping Mall Kuching on the 30th January 2010.
The event was a successful one as I never thought many people would join in the fun.
I know who had fun! Me and my friends!!
We are each given free coupons from VoucherME.
And we were given a short tutorial and FUN of percussions! We had so so much fun alright!! Check out the video below! All thanks to MorganThen sifu!
Yup! Just look at how much fun I had! Even Fabian the dude next to me, my most ‘boring’ friend had fun. In the picture obviously he was “What the hell is Sharon doing?” – as usual.
We the early birds were served with refreshments as well.
A bottle of Heneiken in the house for us, bloggers. I, being a model of Heneiken not bad huh? LOL. too bad I wore pink.
Finally night life at the event was awesome. Awesome lighting and music.
The awesome music made by the DJs. Without their stuff, they will be no crowd at all!
Me, busy taking videos. I admire the percussion players. Even simple things can make such wonderful beats.
Love the ambient and the sound of the percussions. How can you find an event where you can find good sound and see how percussion sounds are made? And where these all comes together you can club with it??? Honestly, it reminds me of mini Rainforest Festival but in a Lounge.
Thank you for the invitation. Looking forward for the next one!
A short clip on the night itself. Enjoy~

Candy of the day: Why is it Boy Bands or Bands have to be in 5??

Got a message in Facebook asking if I would love to witness an Opening in Hills Mall, Kuching?
Replied with a great “YES!”.
Got excited over it and went over to Toys ‘R’ Us on the 30th January 2010.
:: The opening
The invited Guest who attended were Ms. Carol Chua – Country Manager of Toys LiFung Malaysia, Mr.Daren Wowchuk – Regional Head of Operations and Datin Lau Ngo Yung
:: The musical opening – reflects the races and culture of Sarawak
Notice the different drums each musicians holds? Reflects the races in Sarawak which are Malays, Chinese and Natives. I admire this opening as I was ‘wow-ed’ by the presentation of this.
Was greeted with the friendliness of the staffs all in and out of the store.
:: Toys ‘R’ Us
This is the very 1st Toys ‘R’ Us store in Kuching where it offers a wide range of toys. In this very store there are 7 zones specially cater for different age groups and special sections for boys and girls according to brands.
:: Cyril, Fahrie and Norman
See, the guys became a child again that very day. They went ‘OMG I have to have this!’.
:: Irene and the Mascot
Also, there was this tall yellow giraffe which is their mascot to entertain the crowd!
:: Mini Drum Set
Toys such as mini drum sets are available for your child from age 1 – 5. Imagine that! Too bad I can’t sit on the stool though.
Balloons are the colorful decoration to color the store. I still a child at heart as I absolutely adore balloons!
:: Loyalty Card
Toys ‘R’ Us Star Card Loyalty Programme, was launched in Malaysia in May 2006 and has reached over 2 millions across Asian Region. It’s a for life member card.
Fortunately during the very day of the opening, the royalty card was free for registration! If you haven’t got yourself one, please do!!
:: Fahrie & Norman
We get to purchase our own toys! With a big smile across our faces!
**adapted from wikipedia **
In the 1960s, an anthropomorphic giraffe cartoon character was introduced as Toys “R” Us’ mascot. His name, Geoffrey the Giraffe.
:: Drinks
We were served refreshments. Drinks – teas and coffees.
:: Bacon Sandwiches
Light snacks as sandwiches were the main attraction cause I wanted to pick up some and they were ‘ POOF’ gone!
Same goes with their Cheese Sandwiches
Sausage buns were fullfilling!
Spaghetti was one to finished. Predicting it’s yummy!
:: Pizza
Omg these pizza are.. WONDERFUL! But written there was ‘Omelette’
Chicken wings!! Am craving for it now!
French fries!!! The food serve is for the public especially kids therefore have to be childrens’ favorite snack food!
On top would be the squid balls while the bottom one is wedges!
Fish Fingers are yummy as well cause they don’t taste ‘coconut-ish’ if you know what I mean.
Sausage rolls!! Not dry and tasty!
Cabonara pasta would be my top favorite.. <3
Local fruits as desserts. Healthy okay~
My portion which I can’t finish!! Greedy little brat I am! Both Kathleen and Peter nagged though.
All in all, I really enjoyed the whole event. It was straightforward. No delays. No boring speeches. Very fun one too. Experienced myself as a little girl who adore the little pink things around wanna be a little princess again.
Thank You Toys ‘R’ Us for this opportunity.

Candy of the day: Twilight made me tear so badly. I wonder how about New Moon. Am I gonna flood the whole cinema?

It has been a while since I properly blog about events in Kuching.
This post may be an old one which I left it to rust.
However it’s better to blog then never right?
One of the event I went to would be 250 Guinness years Worldwide in Kuching.
The stage. The point of going there was to be the photographer for a friend. He was performing with Alex Wong from Single Track Mind.
:: Alex Wong
He has his own album. Do check it out. Very nice tracks inside.

Part of the group. The night was welcoming. The drink that were serve of course Guinness itself.
The other musicians. With different types of instruments, the song were spiced up nicely.

I love the lightings in this picture. Anyways, back to the topic. It was held in Kuching and the venue was at Chong Lin Park.
:: Mua
Thanks to a new friend which I forgotten his name to take picture of me. ![]()
Was having fun but as you can see I was sweating more.
Stay tune for more LACK of OUTDATES posts. LOL. chow..~

Candy of the day: Anyone can help to solve my blog problem???

Was invited to cover the opening of Toni and Guy Grand Opening on the 09 September 2009.
A grand event where they invited Lion Dances and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held.
Unfortunately, I was caught under the rain while watching the Lion Dance in the car. When the rain was just okay for me to dance in, *LOL* I kinda missed the dance by “Soulz” and Ribbon Cutting pictures were ruin.
Anyhow, other pictures will still be display here.
Spot my signature there?? The Guest Book.
Girlfriend came to the rescue and accompanied me the whole night long. Thank You darling.
Aprilia the Breeze Magazine model and Swinburne’s Prom Queen came attend the function as well.
When you put two darlings who loves camwhore, this is what you get. Thank you for being there for me that night. If you know what I mean..
Dance Crew Soulz performed for the night. Not a bad one I must admit. They are getting better and better each second.
There were hair show of course. The models were stunning!
There were 2 rounds of hair show. It’s time to spot the difference.
According to Miss Mary, one of the person in charge of the Saloon, she told me that models in black, their hair are done by Toni and Guy himself.
Models chosen are multi races which is a great concept whereby it reflects our Malaysian culture.
There were performance from the traditional Chinese instrument played by 2 talented boys.
This little boy, the way he sway with the music while he plays the instruments made the whole crowd sway with him.
We, camwhore whenever we got the chances. Hahah.. Anyways, thank you Mr.Photographer.
The other Chinese instrument performer. Just by watching them makes me feel so out of place as playing that traditional piece of musical instrument seems so tough.
The models of the night. Love the hair and their outfit. Oh, their alluring eye lashes captured me in a way.
Not forgetting, the whole night through, we were entertained by Orion Burn.
Last but not least, The Essensuals Crew.
Taking picture in front of Essensual itself is a MUST. Thank You for inviting. It is such an honor to witness the whole opening.
We loved the setting within the Saloon itself till we HAD to take a LOVING ESSENSUAL picture with the sign board on top. *LOL*
Anyways, we got our hair done by this very Saloon and I do recommend you to give it a try.
It’s not only the final product how your hair turns out fab and awesome but also about the services they provide. From the moment I stepped into the Saloon till the moment I stepped out, the smile on my face represents the satisfactory has never fade.
Before I end this post, I wanna say thanks to my babe for being there for me no matter what happened. Bad or worse she is still there for me. And glad she was the one who shared this wonderful moment with me, the Grand Opening of Toni and Guy Essensuals Saloon, Kuching.
P.S: As you know my blog has the problem on accessing comment pages and previous posting pages. I am looking for an assistance in troubleshooting this problem as I am a BIMBO in programming.
