Candy of the day: Synergy Party was awesome!! Rock the world.

Who says holidays are boring!
Mine is awesome!!
I got to catch up with my friends, bring friends for local delicacies, invited to events, birthday parties, parties, and OMG i’m loving it.
Please oh please don’t end just yet.

Bestie is going of to Perth. Booked the whole week just for her since it’s gonna be just a week to see her and spend time with her. She’ll be away for 3 years, and God knows when will she be back. Who knows she’ll be marrying there. See!!!
Her farewell party was YUMMILICIOUS. Have to wait till the pictures are out and I’ll blog about it yea?
Juggling my time to attend another party after that! Awesome!!
Went to meet a friend in PARAGON club 1st. He brought me around to see the place. We then went to attend a party that rocked my world last night in tHeSpring.

Time to blog about food.
Some local delicacies. Taken during the outing with Crystal and Lit Yee.
If not mistaken it was a week or two before.
Sorry, I tend to blog late. But better late then never right?

As Lit Yee has never been to Hui Sing, we then brought her there.

:: Sweet Cha Kueh
Her 1st attempt of tasting sweet ones. Not many people would love sweet ones. Only the weird me. I had to finished up the whole plate as both girls do not like it. (-___-)

And here, they tend to love the egg more. Hmmm~

:: Kolo Mee
You come to Kuching, you have to eat our Kolo Mee.
Kuching = food = Kuching.
Get it??

:: Tomato Noodle
One of my favorite dish ever. But of course depends on the location of the dish served.
Crunchy noodles served in sweet tomato paste soup and ingredients. Yums~

:: White Lady
A drink where you can find in Kuching called White Lady.
I don’t know why it is called that way, but who cares. As long it’s delicious, right?

P.S: Will blog about food testing in BanQuet next! Waiting for pictures and the menu.

Candy of the day: FINALLY I watched Transformers 2. It was the BOMB! But I much prefer the old one. But the effects of the latest one (of course after 2 yrs man) is cool! Got annoyed with some characters in it. Fox has been as always foxy but even more foxy in this. Can’t wait for the next movie!

Today my post is about a visit to the Kuching State Library with MissDucca since she is originally not from here.
Took alot of pictures. Here I am to share with all of you.

I took this picture cause I love how the hall way is filled with unique lights. Too bad I can’t take it with a DSLR and Wide Lens.
This place can be found next to the cafeteria which is a walk way to the garden.

The path to view the lake which can be found behind the library itself. Love the tiles, made out of many to form a pattern.

The mini fantasy garden~ Love that piece of the state library.

Don’t you just love pathways into something mysterious. A journey of the unknown.

I went to the lake, seeking for the ducks. I remember there were ducks in the lake. Told MissDucca, and I realized the ducks were just in front of my eyes. Can’t really spot them at 1st due to the blending in with the water.

We then saw little cute birdies craving for food. So cute!!
I even feel like wanna run and catch them!

The little part of the garden which I love the most. The enchanted part.
I can even dance here whole day!

Lots and lots of greens~ I love this library so much that we can even stay here and just read a book on the grass. We just love books. Not that kind of reference books okay. Novels and lots of novels.

This is what you see over the lake. The other side of the road.

A little nostalgia feeling whereby the roof is flat, glasses are used instead of normal cement all, etc.
Can be categorized as one of the 1st building in Kuching who invited this style in.
This building has existed for a pretty long time, 5 years ago, it is still standing~

I would want to own a garden such as this. Makes me feel wanna dance again~

Lamp post, which I adore. Different. I know, Crystal, your house there’s one hanging but my place here, do not have one. So yeah, sakai(never seen one) right?

Project Overview
Postcards have long been used to depict a journey of ones self throughout the world. Along with other travel paraphernalia, postcards have become historical snapshots of the world at various junctures, demonstrating style, trends and attitudes of the time. Postcards have always been used for promotion purposes. Recently this has been highlighted by the Free Postcards we can find in most cafes, cinemas and galleries. These are advertising a variety of products, films and services. While they can be used as a postcard, they are more directed at advertising. Even so, they are still a good indication as to the overall design style and feel now. They are a relatively quick and cheap promotional method.

To develop a set of four postcards that depicts a journey of some sort. It could be:

• A seasonal journey
• A journey into your favourite animators, designers, typographers, authors
• A journey in design, through colour, sound, etc
• An historic journey
• A personal journey that reveals something about you or any concept you like

The postcards need to work as a set with perforations and separately as postcards within their own right. As a set, they can be placed in a linear way or as a block of two and two.

From here you do understand what’s are the requirement right? It’s 4 postcards, each one of them has their own stories. When these 4 postcard combine together, they form another whole story.

This is my 1st postcard – Can you see the image clearly? The color above is seriously different from what I’ve got maybe cause it’s fitted for webs while mine is for printing purpose. Never mind about that, can you spot a couple dating looking at the stars above. I love stars and moon. They are my favorite things at night. That is why I love the night too. I placed these two as my main subject where as the couple shows the things I would love to do with my love one.
See the jinny joes at the bottom of the picture? I love jinny joes. If any one of you doesn’t know what’s jinny joes are. They are the loveliest plants ever. With cottons at the buds. Every cotton buds flies along with the color of the wind. Wishes may come true if you wish on every jinny joes. Don’t mind me, I am a girl with the heart of a fairy tale which I still believe in my prince come rescue me, and all sorts.
Do grab the book – Cecilia Achern, If You Could See Me Now. I love every piece of it. My favorite among all her collection.

My second piece – Picturing a girl’s shinny eyes. A pair of in love eyes. As you know roses are mostly expressed in the love language. I used those colors cause if I tend to use red, they’ll be very boring.

My third piece – Picture above shows a guy sitting on a leave which was connected to the roses. He, looking up at Her shows that He misses her. Constancely thinking of her. The hearts hanging showing how in love He is.

My last piece – The couple then settled down. The end.
How is the combination of the four? Can see the linking? The hair, the thorns (hardship of love) , the roses, the necklace???
