Candy of the day: I am starting to blog again. yay!

I just finished uploading my assignments online through flickr which I don’t know if lecturer is impressed with my work as he is one strict man. Am currently not in the mood to do my Contemporary Design Issue Assignment Task which I know I am gonna hand up slightly late.
Been sleeping really late but it’s worth while.

I just realized that as a designer, or a student of design, we are form to be a citizens who helps others.
For example, a chair, a plastic chair.
For me, I know that if I do sit on it as long as forever, my back and buttocks will hurt.
Designers are here to design a better chair, for better posture and etc.
That’s the power of designers which I think our Malaysian thinking is super shallow about it.
Design is not easy as you think. Anyone can do and edit pictures with the well-known Adobe Photoshop.
We have to do research and our design have to be attractive but functional!
Okay enough for this long no use boring thing.

I think I have gained weight, for each of my jeans can’t be fit in anymore.
My clothes are becoming smaller.
Sad but people says it good.
From my point of view, it’s not good good…
I have to spend money for clothes which I do not own much too cause I have cut down my working time in the cafe to once a week due to assignments load.
Parents do not give much money to cover everything for a month. I think if you use it, it would be like 3 days of food and bye bye..

I yearn for my long hair right now because my short hair is longer and messier..
Even though I think for now long hair sometimes makes me different but at times it makes people looks older.
Short hair is cute but at the same time people tend to call me boyish!
So I am stuck and yes, I think I have to think of other hair styles.

I have to go soon. I’m just waiting for the time to go for supper. (And yet I complain I am fat)

** I think this song is cute yet.. it’s true. No one loves to say good bye. I may hurt and broken a heart today but I just want him to know, no one can replace him in my life. **

Being absent in the blog for so so long.
Realized I have been blogging non sense.
Stuff that never existed in my life.

Okay so.. let’s start..
Parents were away for a week to China-Macau.
Last Thrusday till today – Wednesday.

* Wednesday (28 Oct 2009) was brain storming for Halloween costume party.
And in the morning I got this major headache I don’t know where it came from. Realized I can get sick easily.
Had lunch with Kathleen and Lit Yee.
Decided to go to the new Life Cafe at Jalan Song and spotted a familiar car with Bryan and Peter in it.
Went around town in a car, spotted a very lovely phenomenon and came back disappointed cause cannot find the costume I wanted.

* Thrusday (29 Oct 2009), the day parents are away to the airport. Before that went out with Steffinie. Love her every bit. She’s so so sweet. She has been there for me through thick and thin. Accompany me whenever I want. Bought the costume for Halloween Birthday Bash Party. At night I went for dancing class. Was invited by best friend to witness at event in Cottage. I wore my new dress and am loving it. <3 After that even, went to Lok Lok a famous spot for little snacks and checked on parents’ place. Brought my friend, Steffinie along. Met my best friend. Glad both talked and clicked. I love seeing my friends making friends. Love that feeling.

* Friday (30 Oct 2009) – trying to figure out what to wear for pre halloween night as I was invited to Barzing by best friend. Decided on sexy school girl. Borrowed Steffinie’s white top and her black tie. Wore my blue folded skirt with white leggings and black heels. The word ‘sexy’ was the part where I tied the white top up like a cheer leader outfit. Barzing decoration was done by Joanne, my classmate and was impressed. Saw Lyanne. Gave her flying kiss from the top. There were so many awesome people. Went to Picadilys later on, met many people there as well. Saw Mike and Fahrie. They were partying hard core. [LOL]

* Saturday (31 Oct 2009) – it’s FINALLY HALLOWEEN! Was so anxious of the party. I remembered during noon time, almost whole Kuching was blacked out. I had this weird voice call message where a guy sang a Chinese Love song to me with his guitar. No idea who is he, I swear. Wanted to do assignment was tough as well. Evening came. As usual, Steffinie was there for me when I need her. After getting ready (I was a gothic punk bride in hot pink and black), went to pick Kathleen. Lit Yee was suppose to tag along but then she was busy. I forgive you dearest. <3. Arrived at SOHO. Was awesome cause there were so many eye candies around as in cosplays! The birthday babe was sooooo LOVELY! I love her outfit. Her hair and make up was perfect. Not to forget her nails. She was the highlight of the party. Rose and JF were there as well. Saw my old friends, Afiq and Fadzli. Chatted along. Mike came and join us. Love his fake sun burn zombie Went to Picadilys with Mike and Kathleen, saw best friend there. Ended the night at 1.30am. Was hungry cause I didn’t had my dinner since parents were not here, didn’t get to eat right. Went to McD for my lunch + dinner + supper and just by standing there I kinda attracted a stranger. [ROFL]. Vampire came along to join in the fun. The night went funny when the vampire dude popped his head out of the car window and scare a stranger.

* Sunday (1 Nov 2009) – The whole day was at home doing nothing but assignments and assignments. Till it was around midnight best friend asked to go to Absolute K but then ended up canceled since he was tired.

* Monday (2 Nov 2009) – One of the worst day ever whereby lots of downs. Nothing to say about it cause it brings tears to my eyes. Lots of friends care though but lots of black truth came out from knowing who’s your friends are and who are not the real ones. Stayed up late till 6.30am cause wanted to finish my animation but failed.

* Tuesday (3 Nov 2009) – Had this tummy ache thingy so I stayed at home. Besides that, early in the morning I had to send a relative to hospital. So I had to stay over and had this tummy ache thingy. Freedom yet confusion day cause best friend went other places. A day that changed my life in alot of ways. Both ways from two people I cared about.

* Wednesday (4 Nov 2009) – Just now which is yesterday was the most experienced day ever. Woke up early ready for class but then was not able to attend as yesterday needed to run alot of errands for parents. And after the errands, went home was tired. Superly tire maybe due to not enough sleep for a week and the day before I slept at 6.30am. Fainted on the sofa, had this hard to wake up feeling you know when you know you woke up and see yourself walking but then when you tried opening your eyes your body just wouldn’t move an inch just your eyes. And it happened like 6 times I wanted to wake up from the couch but I can’t. Even though you feel your body has woke up from the couch and walking about in the house. Is like my soul is out from my body. And then I ended up into my room which I don’t know since when I was there. Weird right?? Scary as well. And slept till 4pm. Baby brother came back from campus wanted to get his new car from the workshop. He has been bugging me to accompany him doing parents’ errand and his car’s workshop thingy. Went to get his car and came back wanted to go for dinner. And when we were ready realized that neither of us had the key of the house. Both spare and original house keys are inside the house. We spent an hour plus disguising as burglars. We climbed over the gate from front to back. Got help from Steffinie, and she suggested to use ‘something’ from her house to break the keypad lock. But didn’t managed cause we are not pro. I wanted to climb the roof but baby brother don’t allow. We climbed in from behind and tried again but cannot. And then, a friend suggested me to go and seek for lock smith for help. Contacted one and it cost RM35. Thank goodness that friend of mine talked to the lock smith personally if not it would cost me RM50. Went to Bau to settle parents’ errand thingy again. And went to fetch parents from airport. Got lots of gifts from parents. I love my mother so so much. And here I am.. blogging everything.

I hope I didn’t miss a thing though. And my animation sadly it’s stuck but I wanna finish it by Friday so I can show to Mr Greg and correct it.

I remembered I was honored being invited by Krista Centurion Kindergarten last year to blog about my celebration of Mid Autumn Festival. Clicky here to view.

Before I start showing all the pictures, let me briefly explain a little more about the kindergarten. Krista is a franchised kindergarten which currently is the largest kindergarten chain in Malaysia. There are 5 based in Kuching, namely Taman Centurion, Pelita Heights at BDC, Stapok and upcoming at Kota Semarahan. The one I am blogging right now is taken place at Taman Centurion.
Krista is also the sole user of CAPABLE program in Malaysia which is a holistic program that practices full thematic approach of 40 themes in a year. It complies with Preschool National Curriculum under Ministry of Education Malaysia.

Once again, I’ve got the privilege to spend another year of fun and joy with the Krista’s Family. It was held on 25th September 2009. The fun began from 6.30-9.30pm.

Compare to last year, it was the one of the most fun event I’ve anticipated throughout the whole year.

Before I could even enter the main door of the Kindergarten that night, the moment I saw Red Cresent I was getting ready to donate some money. I was feeling rather generous that night but when I stood in front of them, they were like “No Miss No.. We just wanna wash your hands”.
They did was get this special washing form which to me was very refreshing and comes with a lovely scent. And there, I got myself a pair of clean hands!

As for the opening of the event, Miss Vicky gave out her opening speech. Mr John, then introduced the evening’s programs followed by the feasting moment where by all of us including the children, parents and teachers are invited. Food are provided by each students’ parents, a potluck feast.

One of the program of the evening of course would be the exciting sushi making. Sushi Making was demonstrated by Sushi King Japanese Chief Executive Chef Sakamakisan.

Sir Sakamakisan explained very detailed on how to make sushi which attracted alot of crowds around. By looking at the sushi he’s making I was feeling rather hungry.

So cool right? I mean little kids can get free photoshoot from professional. Us, adults.. we have to pay. Super lucky. In our time our parents had to go to the store and buy the films to take our pictures and no photoshop or lightings are used.

Oh.. RANDOM things to blog about. I found out two of my dear friends were so keen to try the job as the Chipsmore Mascot that night that they ‘borrowed’ the head and try it on.

I know it has been weeks I haven’t update my blog.
1st – business of life
2nd – once i finished editing right? (i swear with all my heart i edited the pictures of this particular event i wanted to blog for weeks already) and my old pc just dead noww!!! what’s worse, my friend’s surprise party pictures are all inside with my classmates waiting for them!!!
3rd – am online with my new laptop which is super empty i’m telling you.

I don’t get why I have to go through all these bad luck.
